I had a parent send their child to school today with an excuse letter (more of an apology and explanation, really) for a missing assignment. It was nearly one full page typed on official FAMILY letterhead and signed by both parents.
They have their own letterhead!
Suddenly I feel intimidated by these people I have never met.
