yesterday at lunch, two sophomore boys, jimin and jihyun, ran over to me, giggling and whispering like they had some huge secret.
jihyun: HIIIIIIII!
me: uh... hi?
jimin: JIHYUN WANTS TO ASK YOU TO BANQUET!
me: what?!
jihyun: but i'm not buying your ticket. also, could you buy mine too? so you have to buy 2 tickets. both of them. mine and yours.
me: aw, that's so sweet!... but no.
jihyun: why not?!?
me: i'm a chaperone. my ticket is already paid for. and i'm not paying for yours. sorry.
jihyun: you're mean.
