and for my next trick...

i talked to the principal yesterday. it seems that my schedule next year will involve the following:
- algebra 2
- geometry
- trig/pre-cal
- yearbook
- devotions (once a week)
- study hall?

i am verrrrry happy with that schedule. yearbook is a little odd... but why not add to my resume, right? i'll be coteaching it with the same person who is teaching it this year. and i'm hoping to learn photoshop in the process... finally!

also, we can add to my summer plans house/poodle sitting for my boss for a week at the beginning of may. how did that happen? and not even one, but TWO poodles. WHITE ones! hmm...

oh, AND news of the week - plane ticket to korea is FINALLY sitting on my kitchen table. in fact, it was there 4 hours before i even paid for it! i love how trusting indonesians are. remember how stressed i was about trying to buy one the last few weeks? well, mega (our school secretary and my friend) found one for only $50 more than the one i was stressing about. i was so frustrated by that point that without really thinking about it, i just said, "BUY IT!" then i started thinking... was it so cheap because it has a 14 hour layover in some awful airport?? will i arrive in korea at 2 in the morning and be stuck there until daylight? am i even allowed to bring luggage? hmmm.... but when i got my ticket and looked at it, i realized that God (once again) came through for me... it's a nonstop flight there and back! and the schedule is great! nothing too awful... and since the ticket was sold to me in US dollars and the dollar is so weak, it ended up costing WAY less rupiah than i had planned on! AND the travel agent i used has the same indonesian bank as me. so instead of having to get a buttload of money out and drive it across town to pay them, i just had to go to the atm and do an auto transfer... no mess. no hassle. except for having to drive there in a monsoon. so thank you, Jesus. i'm going to korea!
