korean kid: thanks.
korean kid's korean mom: he can't speak korean.
ashley: oh?

downtown seoul reminds me of new york city.
except everyone dresses like a model.
and things aren't so frantic.
skyscrapers and church steeples blend together seamlessly above our heads.

other reminders of home i saw today: john deere t-shirts, gap, dove chocolate, pringles, quiznos, burger king, outback steakhouse, bennigans, and more... it's amazing. i'm loving my time here and probably spending more money than i should.

off to jeju island tomorrow.
