since i’m the yearbook teacher for this year and since i have never even opened photoshop in my life, i decided to “join” graphic design class, taught by our new girls’ dorm dad – a professional photographer!
i’ve been busy the past few weeks and haven’t had time to ask the teacher if he minded if i sat in, but i finally had a chance to talk with him this week, and he said he’d love to have me. so today was the first time i sat in. i was nervous that i’d be behind after missing the first 5 classes (it meets twice a week), but i managed to keep up.
this here is what i made.
i’d imagine that if you’re at all familiar with photoshop or graphic design, this probably looks like something a 4 year old retarded kid could make in their sleep. but i’m quite happy about it.
because when i started, there was only a white screen in front of me.
