QUESTION: why are the men so feminine?
(exhibit 1 – they carry purses.)
(exhibit 2 - some wear pink AND carry a purse. and are old enough to know better. you would think.)
(exhibit 3 – some wear capris AND carry a purse.)
(exhibit 4 – the guy on the right has a bigger purse than his girlfriend. or maybe they’re matching. hard to tell. but wouldn’t that just be sweet?)
conversation 1:
me: so tell me. what do korean men carry in their bags?
guy: what do you mean?
me: well, american guys mostly only carry things like a wallet and a cell phone. and they put those in their pockets.
guy: yeah, i have my wallet and cell phone in my pockets too.
me: they why on earth are you carrying a man bag?!?
guy: man bag?
me: whatever you want to call it. what’s inside?
guy: *opens bag* a journal, an umbrella, and a camera.
ashley: oooooh... he’s prepared.
conversation 2:
me: so we already talked to one other person, but i need more information. what do YOU carry in your man bag?
him: it’s not a man bag.
me: what do you call it?
him: this was my mom’s birthday present.
ashley: you took it away from her??
him: no, it was her present TO me. gosh. it’s not a man bag.
me: okaaaaay. so what do you carry inside it?
him: oh, look. it’s time to go. *walks off*
