friday i was walking to my house when i spotted something shiny in the grass.
naturally, i went to see what it was, hoping for money.
i was not disappointed.
it was a quarter!
an american quarter!
how odd...
so i picked it up and looked more closely.
minted in 1986. same as me.
so there i was.
walking.
on java.
when i happened to find a quarter.
from the same year as i was born.
me: *looking credulously at the sky while holding said quarter in the palm of my hand* God? is that You?
