It is a very validating feeling when you explain why a difficult concept in math works the way it does, and stunned and enlightened high school students one by one drop their pencils and begin to pound their fists on their desks as they chant, "NOBEL PRIZE! NOBEL PRIZE!" in unison.
One is tempted to take a bow.
