eating spaghetti

i think my favorite phrase in indonesian is this:
badan saya tidak enak.
my body is not delicious.
(i don't feel good)
and the best word to use is:
nggak.
no.

my favorite food accessory now is:
yellow peppers.
they are great in everything.
or even just mixed in with plain white rice.

my favorite sight lately has been:
the mountain in the morning.
it has been so clear and the mountain has so many folds and hills.
i can see the shadows filling every crack and the sun hitting every rise.

my favorite sound right now is the bamboo man in the morning.
he walks down my street banging bamboo together at 3:30.
this is to wake everyone up so they can eat before prayer.
then they fast until dark.
i don't know why i like waking up to the sound of the bamboo man.
but he is a very comforting sound.

and my favorite feeling is:
falling back asleep, snuggled in my bed, after the bamboo man leaves.
