when i left my house this morning, instead of heading across the soccer field and up to school, something told me to walk around the back of my house. there's nothing back there but an alley type thing that my pembantu hangs my laundry in to dry. but curious about why i should walk that way, i did. i found out why at the corner. there was a snake laying dead not a foot from the wall of my house. health and safety, kids... health and safety.
