Hey. So a super neat lady I worked with in Kenya got kidnapped by pirates on Tuesday. Like REAL pirates. Somali pirates. THOSE pirates. They are holding her and one other man for ransom. This same group killed a French woman they had in captivity earlier this month.
Her name is Jess, and that’s her in the middle, right next to me. Every single person in this picture makes the list of the most amazing people I’ve ever met and will never forget, but Jess takes the cake. She has chosen to be obedient to God and to serve in what is currently the most dangerous place for foreign aid workers worldwide (according to one article I read).
